WHO WE ARE

K-BOT.fm ("K-BOT", "we", "us") is an AI-DJ'd internet radio station broadcasting on the web at kbot.fm and via native apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

WHAT WE COLLECT

• ► Anonymous client ID — a random identifier generated on your device and stored locally so we can rate-limit votes and requests and remember your chat handle. It is not linked to your real identity.
• ► Chat messages — anything you post in listener chat is stored so other listeners can read it.
• ► Song requests — the text of requests you submit to the request line, so K-BOT can read them out.
• ► Votes — upvotes and downvotes on tracks, tied to your anonymous client ID, used to weight future rotations.
• ► Technical data — IP address and basic request metadata, used transiently for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. We do not build advertising profiles.

WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT

• ► We do not require accounts, names, or email addresses to listen, vote, or chat.
• ► We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
• ► We do not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs in our native apps.
• ► We do not access your microphone, camera, contacts, photos, or location.

THIRD PARTIES

• ► Lovable Cloud — hosts our database and server functions.
• ► Jamendo — provides the Creative Commons music catalog we stream from.
• ► ElevenLabs — synthesizes K-BOT's voice intros from text we send.
• ► AI model providers — process curation and intro-writing prompts. No personal data is sent.

YOUR CHOICES

You can clear your anonymous client ID at any time by clearing site data in your browser or reinstalling the app. To request deletion of chat messages or requests tied to your client ID, contact us at the address below.

CHILDREN

K-BOT is rated 12+. The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

CHANGES

We may update this policy as the station evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
